Goals & Objectives

1) To demonstrate excellence in all endeavors of the Sheriff’s Office.

Objectives:

Implement CALEA Standards
Identify indicators of excellence in protecting and serving the citizens of Bladen County
Assess the organizational structure of the Sheriff’s Office

2) To be the employer of choice among law enforcement agencies in Bladen County.

Objectives:

Establish relevant benchmark data
Improve employee retention
Strive to maintain a workforce which reflects and respects the diversity of our community through recruitment practices and training opportunities

3) To maintain safe learning environments on the campuses of our educational partners.

Objectives:

Provide for the high visibility of law enforcement personnel.
Protect, mentor, and educate students and employees learning and working on our educational campuses
Engage students in gang and violence prevention through G.R.E.A.T.

4) To increase quality of life measures in Bladen County through enhanced public safety.

Objectives:

Increase exchange of information with citizens through the development and use of technology and media platforms
Increase community contacts through initiated activities
